Descprition:
This three-day
course covers issues in the design and implementation of secure,
robust and scalable online transactional electronic commerce (E-Commerce)
solutions for both the enterprise and the marketplace using the
Java Electronic Commerce Framework (JECF).
Objectives:
This course aims
to teach a set of skills necessary to implement and deliver well
designed real-world, online, electronic commerce applications
using Java Wallet (tm), ]ava Commerce APIs, Java Commerce
Client and Commerce JavaBeans. As part of this course,
the attendees will build a small electronic store-front that would
sell goods and handle financial transactions. On completion, attendees
will be able to:
- Develop e-commerce
applications to handle secure electronic payments
- Design and
implement scalable e-commerce transactional applications using
the Java Wallet (tm)
- Design and
implement reusable components for building scalable e-commerce
applications using Commerce JavaBeans
- Prevent common
problems in online E-Commerce systems by applying best practices
and component design patterns
- Develop and
implement authentication mechanisms to enable secure financial
transaction processing on the internet/web
- Deploy robust
and secure E-Commerce applications on the internet and the web
